The team at Johnny Harris contacted me with an idea for a video series that involved sifting through a large number of documents recently declassified by the US Government. We collaborated to create a visual style that would work well with various topics, documents, and photographs. Initially, the team explored a corkboard and red yarn concept, but after some research, I suggested using a Microfiche, which was more suitable for this flexible content system. After refining the visual style, I provided the team with a long animation that complemented their script, and an editor was assigned to combine it with video footage.
